Handprint Octopuses
We’ll paint an octopus,
That doesn’t ride in a bus,
That doesn’t sit on a tree,
But swims in the deep blue sea.
In order to paint two nice and funny octopus friends, we’ll need two colors – pink and yellow one. You can find yellow colour among your paints. As for the pink one, you can make it yourself.
Step-by-step instructions:
1
Put two colors on the palette –red and white ones. If you’d like your octopus to be of bright pink color, put more red paint, if you’d like it to be tender pink – then you should add more white paint.
7
Wash your hand. Now take a brush and paint the tips of the tentacles, so that your octopus becomes more similar to the creature that lives in the deep blue sea.
10
Make a handprint on the piece of paper near the pink print. Note that the prints should be directed to one side, or else your octopuses will look in different directions.
11
Wash your hand. Paint the tentacles for the yellow octopus, too. Now you’ll have to wait a bit until the paint dries. Then use a marker to draw the eyes, nose and a beautiful smile for these sea dwellers. The octopuses are so bright-colored, and it’s no wonder they are in a good mood.
12
In order to make our picture even more bright and nice, decorate the piece of paper with blue drops. Put some paint on your fingertips.
