Camels are large animals that are used to living in the dry regions like deserts, semi-deserts and steppes. They are called by some the ships of the desert, as the vast deserts are like seas to them. They are very well used to living in the lifeless and waterless territories. They have a very thick coat that protects them from the day’s heat and night’s cold. Depending on the breed camels might have one or two humps. There is a popular belief that camels store water in their humps, but this is not true. In fact humps serve as a kind of “roof” which protects the camel’s back from burning sun. Let’s paint this beautiful animal!
