Hello and welcome to my site. My name is Olga and I love everything crafty. I especially love making crafts with my daughter Ann. Here you can find lots of tutorials about simple crafts that you can make with your kids. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Beaded Dog
One of the most popular pets is a dog. Both adults and children love these devoted friends. It is so nice to make a small craft that will remind you of your pet!
Tools and Materials:
- A thin wire – 50 cm
- Beads of the following colors: light green, black (1)
Step-by-step instructions:
2
Row 2 – string 4light green beads onto the wire left ends. Then run the wire right end through the strung beads tops. Pulling the wire right end to the left and the wire left ant to the right fix the beads in the center and bend the wire to fix the row.
3
String further rows the same way you’ve made the 2nd one.
Row 3 – 1 light green, 1 black, 2 light green beads.
For further steps we will need light green beads only.
String 2 beads onto the upper wire, leave the first bead aside and run this very upper wire end through the 2nd bead. Now we have shaped the dog’s ear.
Row 4 – 4 beads.
4
String 2 beads onto the upper wire, leave the first bead aside and run the end of this very upper wire through the 2nd bead. So we have shaped the second dog’s ear.
Row 5 – string 5 beads on the lower wire and 9 beads on the upper wire. Then run the wire lower end through 7 beads starting with the upper one. Fix the row bending the wire.
5
Row 6 – string 7 beads onto the lower wire and run the upper wire through four beads and fixthe row.
7
Row 9 – string 4 beads and fix the row.
Then string 3 beads onto the lower wire and 7 beads – onto the upper one.
Row 10 – run the lower wire through the 7 beads strung onto the upper wire.
8
String 7 beads onto the upper wire, leave the upper one aside and run the wire backwards through the rest 3 beads.
Row 11 – string 7 beads onto the lower wire and run the wire upper end through them. Bend the wire upper end down to fix it easier by means of wire eyes at the dog’s back.
9
Fix the wire ends, having run them through the wire eyes. Cut superfluous wire. The craft is finished!
